3. Pay your fees

Pay your fees

You must pay your registration deposit after enrolling in courses. Payment is accepted online or by telephone banking only. This is a non-refundable deposit that is used to hold your place in your courses and will later go towards your tuition fees.

IMPORTANT: Current Ontario high-school students will not be required to submit this deposit prior to the deadline for responding to an offer of admission from a university. The deadline to respond is stated in your Offer of Admission letter. You'll find out more information during your Enrolment Appointment.

Need some help? Student Financial Services has financial advisers and budgeting tools to help you pay for your university degree during your time at York. Developing "Your Financial Plan" will give you a head start.

Your student account

Pay your undergraduate enrolment deposit, residence charges, course/program fees or any other charges reflected on your student account through your bank, credit union or caisse populaire using telephone or online banking.

To find out when the balance of your course fees is due and the amount owing, check your student account. Set up access to your student account via Passport York online or at your enrolment appointment.

International students: York University has partnered with two providers (CIBC International Student Pay and Convera) who offer secure online portals for International Students to make payments for course/program fees, residence, health care and UHIP charges appearing on their Student Account Online Statement.
