Scholarships for International Students awarded automatically based on academic performance

International students studying at a Canadian secondary school are eligible to receive the York University International Entrance Scholarship. These scholarships are not renewable.

Awarded to high-school students based on the final admission average calculated in July (including prerequisites courses):

  • 95%+ — for $3,000 level
  • 90 - 94.9% — for $2,000 level
  • 85 - 89.9% — for $1,000 level
  • 80 - 84.9% — for $500 level

International Circle of Scholars Scholarship $15,000 first year only
  • Awarded to highest academic average
Fine Arts Talent Award $1,000
  • Based on performance in audition or evaluation required for admission to Fine Arts

  • Awarded to highest academic average
