Translation Studies

MA

The Master in Translation Studies is the only graduate program in Toronto and southern Ontario dedicated to the advanced study of translation. The program integrates theoretical approaches and practical issues from both local and global perspectives to better understand complex webs of intercultural relationships and communication processes. Thesis and research work can focus on a wide range of topics and language combinations. Applicants are required to demonstrate competence, to the satisfaction of the Admissions Committee, in French and English or in any other language and English.

MFA, PhD

The MFA is a studio-centred program in which students independently develop an art practice that reflects contemporary debates in culture.
