Articulation Agreements and Programs with Centennial College

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Sociology or Bachelor of Arts Degree of Glendon College from Social Service Worker Program of Centennial College

Graduates of Centennial’s Social Service Worker Program with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (B or 70%) who have also met any additional program or degree-specific requirements will be eligible for admission consideration to Glendon College. All students admitted to Glendon must satisfy the bilingual requirements and must complete a language placement test to determine their level in each official language. Admitted graduates of the Social Service Worker Program will be granted a block of 45 transfer credits. Depending on the electives chosen at Centennial College and Glendon College, a student may need to complete more than the minimum credits required for a total of 90 or 120 credits in order to meet Glendon’s graduation requirements.

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Sociology or Bachelor of Arts Degree of Glendon College from Police Foundations Program of Centennial College

Graduates of Centennial’s Police Foundations Program with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (B or 70%) who have also met any additional program or degree-specific requirements will be eligible for admission consideration to Glendon College. All students admitted to Glendon must satisfy the bilingual requirements and must complete a language placement test to determine their level in each official language. Graduates of the Police Foundations Program will be granted a block of 36 transfer credits when admitted to the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Sociology or any Bachelor’s Degree at Glendon College.

Liberal Arts Diploma Program at Centennial College

Students of the Liberal Arts Diploma Program at Centennial College, who have completed all 1st and 2nd semester courses of the program with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (B or 70%), may be conditionally admitted to take up to 12 credits at York University while they pursue their current program. Students who have completed all 1stsemester courses with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (B or 70%) and are enrolled in 2nd semester courses of the Liberal Arts Diploma Program may also be conditionally admitted. Students must also meet any additional program or degree specific admission requirements to be considered for admission at York University.

Graduates from the Liberal Arts Diploma Program at Centennial College with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (B or 70%) and who have met any additional program or degree specific admission requirements, will be granted a block of 45 credits when entering any Bachelor level program in the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Science at York University. Graduates applying to other Faculties at York may also be granted a block of 45 transfer credits. Graduates that have taken York University courses while completing their Centennial program may earn up to 57 credits before registering full time at York University.

Depending on the electives chosen in the Liberal Arts Diploma program at Centennial College and the desired program at York University, a student may need to complete more than the minimum of 75 credits toward a total of 120 credits required to graduate from York University.
